The welding site is a strong electromagnetic-interference (EMI) environment, especially at the instant of arc start; edge computing + EMI immunity determine whether the monitoring data can be trusted and stays stable.

Arc-start spikes can reach tens of volts and span 1–10 MHz, easily distorting the acquired signal and causing misjudgment; putting the judgment in the cloud means high round-trip latency, and a dropped connection means failure.

SUXIN performs acquisition and judgment locally at the edge (response on the order of about 50 ms), with a three-layer hardware-software-algorithm defense against interference — hardware attenuation, a software watchdog and checksums, and an independent deterministic threshold-and-rule layer that identifies EMI-distorted signals, paired with graded self-healing so that monitoring is not interrupted under strong interference.
